As I searched the garden for my special trowel, I thought of you, Jimny!!
Its bronze and cuts through the soil like a knife. Bought it years ago at the Malvern Show and, apart from prising apart the ring that holds the trowel to the handle (my fault as I was levering up a rock, that I didn't know existed) its as good as new.
