One year I had leaf miner problems with a few of my red torpedo onions. Only about 5% of the crop were affected and this was about five years ago with no more problems since!

It must be certain parts of the country that are the most badly affected and thank goodness our area isn't one of them. I am pushing my luck now and my alliums will probably be devastated this year!
