I can't moan too much at the OH, he has spent this month digging over my dahlias patch and a large border. He hates gardening, but he has dug it all over twice getting out the weeds and it's all nearly ready for planting.
The border in the garden had a large hedge that had died in places and lots of ivy roots in there too....there were a few shrubs but when he is asked to dig something, everything has to go
