Next door neighbours are very elderly, slightly scatty and extremely mobility restricted. They got a wheelchair taxi to take them for their second jab at £34 quite early in the morning (for them) causing some anxiety. They got to the site and were told it had been cancelled, with no apology and a 'we sent out an email' excuse. They are not online and wouldn't know a email if it bit them. They were not impressed. They've managed to rebook for next week so have calmed down. These days you're definitely disadvantaged without the internet, and I'm not sure they could cope if they did have online capability. I've spent the morning with them setting up an account with their doorstep milk delivery company, as the company has insisted all their customers pay online from April, not helpful for the vulnerable.
Gardening is an excuse not to do housework
