Spec isn't talking about your diet, but the fact that you mentioned "age" and being "past it at 40". For Spec, any mention of being half his age, is upsetting.

I can empathise with that. I always feel miffed when I'm buying booze at the self-checkout and the shop assistant comes over and taps on the "Customer is clearly over 25" button. I know I'm long past 25, but it's the "clearly" that stings
