The Shopkeeper winked, put his finger to his lips and made a ssshushing noise when he saw me today.
I followed him as discreetly as I could and he led me to the raspberry aisle. There, gleaming like rubies, were the first summer raspberries.
"Fill your punnet" he said "we charge by the punnet". (Funny word "punnet". Is it a little Pun?).
Needless to say, I ate as I picked as did my trusty companions, Mrs Chicken, Bess and her 2 boys, Spud and Ted.
Please don't tell the Shopkeeper or he may not let me have first dibs next time.
