I had a look at it but as I didn't want the book (a paperback for a tenner?) nor the unspecified seeds, I didn't look any deeper. If you want the book it could be a bargain, the seeds did look a bit different than the bog standard T&M bargain varieties.

Does it list the random seeds anywhere? Just curious as I have a similar book about wartime gardening.

Nah from what I can see, no seed list. I can get the book second hand for under a fiver. Rolleyes

So not so sure if the extra for the seeds is worth it? Huh

PS Just had a thought, I imagine the current trend for 'No Dig' would have went down like the Hindenburg in those days!

Buy the Ebay one and save your money because you can buy a lot of seeds from Premier Seeds et al for £5 and they'd be seeds you chose not odds and ends from T&M/Suttons (same company).

Has anyone spotted any good compost offers? (For delivery, not in-store only). I'd like to get the other half of my garden covered, and top up my existing beds a bit, but I haven't created anywhere close to enough finished compost in the past year.
Formerly self-contained, but expanding my gardening horizons beyond pots!
