Was over the plot at 8:00 waiting for the manure man so lifted onions, 1/3 of the potatoes, and courgettes/marrows, my most productive day to dateSmile

2 trombas, myriad tumbling tomatoes, and some bigger ones black Russian, shirley, cour di bue, marmande. Sungold, black cherry, sunchocola . Beans., courgettes.

I leave them out as long as it remains dry, wait for the roots to crisp. We have rain forecast Thursday so I shall move them on racks in the shed for a couple of weeks to allow the necks to dry

Is that me your referring to Admin ?  Tongue

Lying out in the rain or humid weather doesn’t work in Ireland but hanging in a poly tunnel with air movement does.

   


The greens have all dried up nicely and tightened up at the neck, used some the other night and they were lovely and firm.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.
