Not too sure it's  a confessional for me - rather me being nosy about what everyone else is buying Smile

I've ordered, but not yet received from Premier Seeds:

Carrot Amsterdam Forcing Early
Dahlia Pompone Double Mixed
Carrot Purple Dragon -
Carrot Solar Yellow
Dwarf French Bean Slenderette
Dwarf Kenyan Bean Ferrari
Tomato Indigo Blue Beauty
Carrot Tendersweet
Dahlia Dwarf Dandy -
Tomato - Steak Sandwich
Carrot - Purple Sun F1
ASTER CHINA - DWARF PINOCCHIO MIX
TOMATO DATLO

Looking at the list now, I'm wondering why about 50% of them  Rolleyes . I was also halfway thinking I should grow some different things outside of the seed swap so I might have something new to swap next autumn.
I was also considering, reluctantly,  to buy two pkts of seed from T&M tomato primabella and some gazania new day seeds but saw their p&p and decided to write them a snotagram instead. Needless to say the response was boilerplate BS.

I picked up a packet of Circus Clown Snapdragon seeds and mixed colours beetroot from Wilko.

I've never had success sowing Snapdragons but I am determined! Hopefully my new heated propagator will help.

I grow snapdragons - I love them. Autumn down are best...but I've just started another batch.
ive single sown into modules ( using a tweezers) they grow so slow that I prefer not to disturb any that haven't germinated.
They can take awhile to germinate. Take out as soon as you see a speck of green. Grow on in a cold greenhouse. I use a plastic lid in the greenhouse to keep them a little bit warmer.
They are very slow to grow. you can pinch out the tips And this will give you some extra plants if you put the tips in water. They will root readily.

Hmm, I've bought a lot this year!!

I did order in 200 - anemone corms. They didn't arrive after a month so I complained bitterly. They refunded me. I was so annoyed as I missed the planting window that I commented on FB and Instagram and made myself to be a nuisance so they sent the same order again (with some peonies that I had just ordered Wink ) for free!!! ....then 3 weeks later my lost parcel arrived!! OMG! 400 anemones now planted up!

Ok - I will do a proper list. This is my bulb/seed list for blooming in 2022

I have had some issues with the anemones and the ranunculas rotting.

Anemone Coronaria De Caen Sylphide 50
Anemone Coronaria St Brigid 50
Anemone Coronaria De Caen Mr Fokker 50
Anemone Coronaria De Caen The Bride 50
I would say that 140 of these rotted with worms inside. I assumed it was my greenhouse but I chucked all the pots out and all my other seedlings haven't got any. So I personally feel these were crap?

Anemone Fuschia -60
Anemone Rose - 60
Anemone Pastel mix - 180
These were all planted very late but all free Smilecurrently on my windowsills!

Ranunculus Aviv Rose 50
Ranunculus Aviv Orange 50 - 30 of these rotted.
Ranunculas Pink picotee - 105
Ranunculas cafe au late - 15
Ranunculas orange picotee- 15

Tulip Victoria's Secret Pink 100
Tulip Antarctica Flame 50
Tulip Brisbane 50
Tulip Elegant Lady 50
Tulip Club Mix x120
Tulip Candy club x 120
All bought in the sale - Christmas present from my boys.

Peony - Bowl of Beauty x3
Peony - Sarah B x3
Peony - Purple Spider x2
Peony - coral Charm x3
Absolute bargain for these - just over £20 for the lot! There should have been 3 purple spider but it didn't look worth planting.

This is what I've acquired so far for this year - the huge amount is because the bulk is in mixed packs with only a few seeds of each variety. Which are which will remain to be seen when they germinate/fruit. I'm not sure this is a sensible way to sell seeds, but they were a good price for organic. A good price here in France, anyway!
