Do you have a Slow Cooker SC, ha?
If so you could utilise that and have the meal waiting for you when you’ve finished.

You need a sweet/pudding/dessert with your meal so apple and blackberry pies freeze well. Nice with a scoop of ice cream.

So far I’m planning on bulk cooking curry, chilli con carne & soups. What else would freeze well?
Lasagne freezes well but it's a lot of work, which is why I make double and freeze it. Otherwise I'd second the other suggestions - I freeze pasta sauces and shepherd's pie if I have extra. If you freeze the latter in an ovenproof dish or one of those foil takeaway trays, you can just pop it in the oven, though I think home ready meals are best thawed rather than cooked from frozen.
How much veg and wildlife can I pack into a 6m x 8m garden in suburban Cambridge? Let’s find out!

We've done chicken and leek pie, fish pie, empanadas (so I assume any handheld shortcrust pie would work), mini quiches, sausage casserole, and enchiladas for the freezer, in addition to the things mentioned above.
Plus, for extras and sweets: flour tortillas, parbaked bread sticks, cooked American pancakes and waffles, and uncooked American biscuits (unsweetened scones) and cookie dough balls for cooking straight from the freezer.
