I forgot about this thread, so far this year -
5 jars Aubergine Pickle
5 jars Marrow & Ginger jam
3 jars Marrow & Ginger chutney
2 jars pickled Jalapenos
1 jar pickled Biquinhos
5 jars pickled gherkins
1 jar dill pickles
2 jars Harissa

Tried the Branstons today having found it. I would say it probably still tastes the same as in 2010 - but that's not a recommendation.

I've not made any pickles this year but plenty of jam, and have lots of soft fruit in freezer if I need to make any more. My son gave me a jar of a tomato and chilli pickle that was absolutely delicious but when I asked about the recipe both he and his partner couldn't remember what they had put in it.

Sorry late to this party. I’ve found furniture polish works brilliant for this.

Just tried Mr Muscle furniture polish and even though I have the sweetest smelling jars, the sticky is still on them! Angry

I use block furniture polish that seems to work for me.

MrB did recommend me using cellulose thinners but I don’t fancy having the house smell like his shed.

I haven't tried baby wipes for this but they do seem to remove a lot of things though.
