So this will be interesting, saw this yesterday, one of my apple trees which was harvested a few weeks ago has decided to produce some flowers.
Anyone else had this happen? I thought I'd just leave it to it as I'm not sure they'll get through winter.

I have read that it can happen after a really hot & dry summer bcause the tree 'thinks' the seeds it produced first time around may not be viable, or may not be able to germinate, so it has another go.
Perhaps this is something we'll increasingly see, but maybe also a sign that some elements of nature have the ability to adapt to the changing climate.

I’ve noticed a couple of flowers on my plum tree again. Not harvested my apples yet, they’re only just ready now.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.
