Looks like it is looking round for a boyfriend. Are there some nearby?

Pear and plum trees finishing flowering now. Most apple trees in full flower except bramley (about to flower) and gravenstein (just starting to wake up). I don't think I'll be going to the apple fair this year:

An acer is flowering also but I've never had any fruit off it.

Pear, plum, peach and cherry are finishing now. Most of the apple trees are flowering - the last ones are the russets. The Quince looks magnificent this year. Haven't noticed the Medlar flowering yet. The Mulberry hasn't even opened its leaves yet - its always the last of the fruit trees. The Persimmon is also a slow starter and has never fruited. Maybe this year, who knows?

Apple blossom is out, pear blossom is setting. I get very excited at this time, only to be disappointed when 90% of the fruitlets drop off. Gooseberry is setting but fruit is sparse (I don't care, they're sour and yukky). Blackcurrants are beginning to flower, redcurrants are yet to show any sign of life. Raspberries and strawberries floriferous.
