Yesterday was dry with a chilly wind (no shorts here). Today we were promised rain, which we sorely need. The ground is cracking and as hard as concrete, but the rain didn't materialise...yet.

Started sunny but the sneaky weather gods waited for me to wander to the end of the garden before emptying their bucket of rain. To be fair, they waited for me to return to the house and pour a cuppa before chucking great handfuls of hail at the ground. It was quite a sight, watching it bouncing off the GH roof.
The sun's out now but there's a bitter wind a-blowing.

Big change from this morning as the sun is out. It doesn't feel as cold as this morning but probably is a as the sun is making me think it's warmer? Still very windy which seems to be the norm for this year?

Continuing to be really quite unpleasant. 11cm of rainfall this month so far. It’s really quite tedious. Today has been rain, sun, windy. Temperature hit a barmy 9.8 degrees this afternoon but with the wind only felt like a 6.9 degrees (this I can definitely vouch for! Flipping cold) . When’s this spring stuff going to show up?

Cold last night, probably a frost but I wasn't up early enought to see it. Down to -0.6°C. Bright and clear this morning but not warming up very quickly. No wind, very still. Forecast showers later.

Down to 5 in the GH last night. Poor tomatoes! Good job I tucked them up last night!
Sunny but chilly this morning.

My gh went down to -0.5 and I had some toms outside the propgator and exposed. Whilst they might not be too happy, they're not showing frost damage. Fingers crossed.
