2026 - Today's Recipe

B. Toast & strawberry jam,
L. Buttered Olive bread
D. Veggie sausages, potato croquettes, mushy peas & chutney.

Pizza and salad.

I like mince and onion but I know onion is bad for dogs so kato's share of the mince was cooked in a small frying pan. I boiled four eggs and shelled them (Kato won't eat eggs) , I cut the boiled eggs in half and poured miy mince & onion over them then topped with grated double Gloucester. Kato had his mince topped with cheese as well.
I normally buy cheap 20 or 25% fat mince but this time I bought 10% by mistake. I had to add butter to the pans as there wasn't enough fat to cook mince without burning.

Tomato & basil ravioli

For supper I raided the freezer againt to make some space. I had garlic & herb chicken kievs and a tasty treat of apple & custard turnovers. Kato and I were still hungry after that so we had a tin of spam between us!

B. Toast and some 2023 Raspberry jam.
L. Olive bread and butter. Doesn't need anything else!
D. Sardines mixed into rice, mushy peas and spring onions.

Sweet potato wedges with Veg burgers and salad.

I am trying to make room in the freezers to accomodate some of the cheap easter meat whilst shopping tomorrow. 
 
I had steak and cottage cheese for lunch. For supper I am having lamb steaks with battered fish steaks to go with it and have thrown frozen gooseberries and frozen strawberries out of the freezer. If they defrost ok I might make something with them?
