I like mince and onion but I know onion is bad for dogs so kato's share of the mince was cooked in a small frying pan. I boiled four eggs and shelled them (Kato won't eat eggs) , I cut the boiled eggs in half and poured miy mince & onion over them then topped with grated double Gloucester. Kato had his mince topped with cheese as well.
I normally buy cheap 20 or 25% fat mince but this time I bought 10% by mistake. I had to add butter to the pans as there wasn't enough fat to cook mince without burning.

For supper I raided the freezer againt to make some space. Rolleyes I had garlic & herb chicken kievs and a tasty treat of apple & custard turnovers. Kato and I were still hungry after that so we had a tin of spam between us! Smile

I am trying to make room in the freezers to accomodate some of the cheap easter meat whilst shopping tomorrow.

I had steak and cottage cheese for lunch. For supper I am having lamb steaks with battered fish steaks to go with it and have thrown frozen gooseberries and frozen strawberries out of the freezer. If they defrost ok I might make something with them?
