Not joining you. Except maybe with carrots. As you know I like rows, plus I like knowing what suceeds (sometimes nothing). Most of my old courg/squash seeds are those I've tried and discounted, like Nice de Rond or pumpkins. I don't want to waste my time on those. Perhaps I ought to throw them away.

Fellow mods is language like that aloud on this forum ?
especially when discussing squash, pumpkin & courgette !

especially when discussing squash, pumpkin & courgette ! I'm equally concerned about "liking rows".

My old seed mix is now sown / scattered. I did 6 little mixes in the end. So I’ve half a chance of identifying what comes up. If anything comes up. I mixed squash, pumpkin & courgette 8 packets. Then swede & turnips 4 packets . Broccoli & leeks 4 packets . Cabbage & cauliflower 3 packets. Beetroot & celery 3 packets. Finally sprouts & kalettes 2 packets.
The tunnel cloche isn’t covering all the seeds. It just to help give some of them a chance to.

I must confess to being a row-aholic, it just makes it easier to see which are weeds, and deal with them with hoe.......hopefully

I only grow parsnips in rows, 6inch apart in all directions so I can get the spade in.

SEE!! I'm not as daft as you two think I am. As for throwing away seeds, it's probably not going to happen.

I'm "throwing away seeds" but I'm throwing them in the garden - so they still have a chance to prove themselves!
I still think youre daft.

Some of my seeds are coming up. In the swede & turnip section. No sign of anything else. I think mice have eaten all the squash, pumpkin & courgette seeds. I spotted a couple of husks on the surface.
