Random flower seedling ID

I thought I would try to figure out the identity of some of my random flower seedlings. Join me if you like and win fabulous prizes!*§^

*Prizes not that fabulous. Mostly kudos and seeds saved from seedlings.
§Prizes not at all contingent on winning and quite definitely contingent on actually growing any of these seedlings into successfully flowering plants.
^Prizes also contingent on you wanting to give me your address and grow my no-longer random varieties.

I'll start with the seedlings that I think I have identified.

Lupin

Marigold

Zinnia

Now for some less distinctive seedlings. They may not be identifiable yet, but I thought it might be useful to see the seed leaves and true leaves. In any case, I will endeavor to keep them growing until they help me out by growing flowers.

I've tried to center or support the seedlings in questions - with varying degrees of success.

Seedling 1

Seedling 2

Seedling 3

Seedling 4 (two of the same?)

I agree with the ones you identified already. Seedling 3 possibly antirrhinum . I recognise so many of the others. Just can’t quite put my finger on what they are.

Thanks! I would love more antirrhinum and dahlias so fingers crossed. I think seedling 5 is something in the mallow family. I first thought it was a hollyhock but I don't think the leaf is quite right.

Perhaps ask again when the seedlings have a few more leaves. Like SC some look awfully familiar but elusive.

It does occur to me that I've not marked the seedlings in the mixed trays at all so may be a bit stumped when it gives to tracking them....... But I shall try Big Grin
