IN today an enormous bag of tinned food - all in date too!
Tuna x 12 tins, Red salmon x 1, Sweetcorn x 6, Red beans x 8, tomatoes x 6, baked beans x 2, tomato soup x 1 and Chicken in cream sauce x 1.
I foresee Tuna and sweetcorn sandwiches, and red beans cooked in tomatoes on the menu soon.

IN yesterday - a 4 slice electric toaster to replace mine which has stopped toasting in two of the slots. Took up too much space to justify its existence. No point trying to give it away when its only half working! I'll take it for recycling.

IN today from a regular . Frozen food - Five packs of salmon, 3 with sweet chilli and 2 with a herb dressing; streaky bacon, chips and potato croquettes, and some yogurts, individual cakes and popcorn.
Also IN, a box of part used notepads. You know the sort (well, I do!) where you have a good idea, write a few pages than change your mind or forget about it completely. A few pages ripped out of most of the notepads so I can't tell what their previous use was!

Plus 4 bars of soap and 2 deodorants.

Not free but very cheap. I bought four quarter pounder beef burgers from Morries freezer dept, reduced frpm £3.79 to £1.00. Once I had been through checkout amd seen that price was right, I went back into shop and bought another five packs. Can't go wrong as a pound of mince, which I usually turn into four burgers is a lot more exppensive than £1.00.
