2025 - Seed Swap Circle

Finally, my seeds are on their way to you both. I've held back a bit longer as I wanted to test the Bijou seeds for germination. I'm pleased to say that they passed their test.

Oooh, its Xmas time again, ooops sorry for swearing. Thanks Veggie, you went above and beyond testing for germination. I was quite prepared to take the risk. I'll let you know when they arrive. They usually come through very quickly to here.

They've arrived and the surprise is great, very many thanks.

No sign of a postie here yet. But not had any ferries for last to days. So he will have a lot to deliver and it’ll be a late one.

The postie actually bothered coming to our village today. And he bought me seeds and a lovely surprise. Thank you so much Veggie. Very very pleased with all my goodies   .

Now yours has arrived SC I can talk about the surprise Veggie sent me. A very interesting book 'Growing Beans, a diet for healthy people and planet' just up my street (but perhaps not Vinny's ). Thanks once again Veggie, you're a star. What was your book SC?....how to design a kitchen? I too will think of sowing my seeds.

Your book sounds very interesting and perfect for a bean fan like yourself   . Veggie very kindly sent me the forager’s garden. Grow an edible sanctuary in your own backyard. By Anna Locke. Unfortunately I’ve only had time for a quick look through it. But it’s exactly the sort of thing I’m attempting to create. I can’t wait to have a proper read of it. It’s quite wonderful how well the lovely Veggie knows use.

OK, you two, that's enough of the gratitude stuff. The truth is that I bought a bundle of books from Permaculture Publications and these two books were in the bundle - and I already had them both. Sending them to you seemed the best way to recycle them.
