Today is not dreich, it’s bloody horrible. Very wet and very windy Dreich is good, word wise not weather wise. Very wet here too chucking it down in stair rods.

More or less stopped raining now and brightening up a bit. Bit on the windy side though. Working in the polytunnel today. It's a bit odd. I have 2 polytunnels now about 30' apart about the same size. In one the soil is bone dry like dust and the other is water logged.

Geordie living 'ower the watter'

Horizontal sleet & hail pebbledashing my face on Kato's walk!  You know when you eat a big chunk of icecream and it gives you a headache in your frontal lobe, well that's what it felt like battling against it.  (Am I going soft in my auld age methinks) 
Every thing was soaked through, even my supposedly waterproof shoes,socks, strides,supposedly showerproof coat and underpants!
Kato looked at me and seemed to say "We must be mental dad, going for a walk in this, howay, lets turn back?"
