Awesome usually have the 4 for 3 offer on, so, I add books to my basket in groups of 4, so that one (the cheapest one) will be free. Any extra books I put in my Wish List until I find more books that I want. The risk is that they'll be out of stock by the time I have another 4 books.

"Homegrown Kitchen". https://www.magazine.co.uk/magazines/hom...n-magazine I’ve had a look and they publish 6 issues a year, so that’s better value than other gardening mags depending on how many seeds are included I suppose.

It launches this month and will be on sale at supermarkets etc. I'll have a look for it next time I'm in Morries and see if there are any free seeds worth having. At nearly £7 a copy they would have to be really good!
On the other hand, I could buy £7 worth of seeds at Lidl and have 35 packets of their basic ones or 15 large packets and 5 basic ones for the same £7. Apparently, this magazine is now on sale in supermarkets etc and has 10 packets of seeds with it. Don't know what they are though!
EDIT Found a YT video and the seeds are Cauli, Parsley, basil, Rocket, Beetroot, Spinach, Lettuce, Brussels sprouts, Parsnip & Carrot. They're Mr F Seeds. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1399659394985897

A local greengrocer, has just posted:-
"Lots of products are stuck on container ships in ports all around world, Whatever stock does manage to arrive in the UK has almost doubled in price. There was at least 10 products last week that usually are in abundance but were unavailable last week. Peppers, Courgettes, Aubergenes, Tomatoes, Cucumbers have all sky rocketed in price. Worrying times".
There's a lot to be said for buying UK grown, seasonal veg and. of course, growing your own. Especially at times like this.
