Each of you list your ideal/favourite celebration meal, then we can see if we have any overlaps because if we were to all get together, it would truly be a celebration.

I'm happy with anything that has veg or Fish, the only things I don't like are cream and jelly.

I'd spread the table with every variety of chocolate I could get hold of, open a couple of bottles of bubbly, and say help yourselves Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

My porridge is made with water too, Bren. :

If I was expecting a G&G invasion I'd have a pick and mix cheeseboard - with lots of nibbles, crackers, nuts, fruit, vegsticks and pickles/chutneys. Hopefully, something for everyone without too much effort or washing up. Big Grin

There’s always fish, chips and mushy peas. Preferably eaten at the sea side. Big Grin

The question was really not what you'd give the rst of us but what you would choose as a special something for yourself.

One of my favourites is roast lamb but a real treat would be a Chinese banquet with all sorts of dishes on a huge lazy Susan in the middle of the table. All cooked by someone else of course.

Just the fish for me. I can tolerate batter in small dozes! Rolleyes I quite like Veggies cheeseboard idea though with some Gorgonzola if possible.
