My first IN of 2026. Big Grin
Books. I'd arranged to collect some cookery books but was also offered whatever I wanted from a pile of paperbacks. I, rather modestly, only took 10!
A couple of the cookery books will be given away (either already have them or not interested in them). I'm not really sure why I collect cookery books as I never follow a recipe!

You can tell it's New Year as the seed catalogues have started arriving! The DT Brown seed catalogue is free, but the seeds aren't. Rolleyes I will peruse it though to see if there is owt new I fancy trying? One thing I do need to get is horseradish. I have just had some with my steak and I use it regularily.I used to have a plant at my old allotment and it's a perennial which is very easy to grow and proliferates similar to dock so one root should do me?

IN today two post-Christmas clearouts. Big Grin
Two Christmas puds, a Panettone, tub of Cheeselets, crisps, roasted pistachios, 2 jars of olives, homemade sweet pickle and Strawberry jam. Ginger biscuits, a chocolate Santa and a chocolate reindeer, sherbert lemons, butter mintoes, lots of small sweets, M&Ms and chocolate bars.
Its beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. Big Grin

In a recent pick-up there was a packet of Salted caramel Fudge - I love fudge Big Grin The pack said it contained 12 Servings. Imagine my disappointment to find that there were just 12 cubes of fudge in the box!
Does anyone really think that one square of fudge is a "serving"?
For the record, I've just eaten 7 servings.Big Grin

My mind just ran away with me - and thought of two fingers of fudge saying Fudge off. Sorry, please don't ban me. Wink
