Wallflowers for me please. They used to sell young plants in bunches, wrapped in newspaper in local shops. Haven't seen them like that for years. Must remember to sow some next year.

I'd like a mature wisteria, and something suitable to grow it up. Mum had one growing up her cottage but the roots were so invasive they got inside and were travelling under the floorboards. It was very lovely but like the magnolia (one for the letter M) the frost got it more often than not.

I've grown these before SC and far be it from me to put you off, but I found them tasteless. They also belong to the nightshade family along with tomato's and peppers but look too much like the 'deadly' variety for me to enjoy eating them. A novelty I grew one year only then gave up on.
I was far more interested in its other properties, rather than eating the berries    Wink
The mind boggles! Rolleyes

I have loads in flower NOW! I don't know whether to chop them back and hope they will flower at the proper time , or just leave them? They are over two foot tall! Cry
