The weather at Windemere yesteday was lovely. At Coniston Water today there is typically 'Lakes' weather, raining with gusty winds! Brings back memories of camping with my family in a tent at the lakes! It was like sleeping in a drum!

Very heavy ain ovenight. Glad I put my hiking boots on for Kato's walk this moning as paths ae vey muddy! Motorhome coveed in birch leaves!

Our promised heavy rain yesterday was a non event, merely drizzle and light rain. Enough to keep me indoors (it doesn't take much). Today's a bit different. You pop out in a dry spell just to bring in the bins and get soaked by the time you get in. Intermittent quite heavy downpours. Another indoors day. The ground is lapping it up.
