Anothe expeimental brunch. In a bowl I added a dollop of cottage cheese, a dollop of peanut butter a dollop of blackcurant jam and a one inch piece of cucumber diced. Quite colourful in the dish but the only thing Kato liked was the cottage cheeese.
This afternoon its back to nomality with a rump steak & butter.

Trying my hand at Koftas today. I had 500g of lamb mince in freezer (£1.09 reduced price!) and a Kofta spice mix for 30p. Combined them both and moulded pieces ( looked like dog turds!) Cooked in ai fryer for 10 mins each side and tasted much better than the aforementioned would have!

B. Stewed apple, granola & yogurt with more out of date honey.
L. Hummus from the freezer (use by Feb 2024). with tomatoes in wholemeal bread sandwiches
D. Portobello mushrooms, thickly sliced and dipped in seasoned flour (leftover from when I did courgettes recently). The flour stopped them from soaking up too much fat in the frying pan and they were crisp and crunchy. I'd do this again! Eaten with baked beans and cheese chunks.
All FREE except the granola & YS yogurt.

Pizza night. A different one to my usual courgette, pesto, sweet peppers. One of my own design. Sweet peppers, Jalapeños, caramelised onion & mushrooms . It was very nice. Definitely be having that again.
