First time harvesting a tiny bit of chives today. I'm chuffed with how they're settling in, considering they cost me something like 20p. Love the yellow stickered herbs in pots.

First ever, yellow plum from a tree planted several years ago. I had given it a warning that if it didn't do something useful soon, it would be for the chop. Good to know that something listens to me.
It was very nice too - there are some more, not ripe yet.

I did the same thing to our two pear trees last season. They've only cropped well twice in  about 40 years, I'm surprised they're still standing. This year they both have an acceptable crop, if birds don't get to them. They have a stay of execution.  The weather this spring must have been to their liking.
