Planted a few cucamelons in a tub in GH2. Can't decide where to plant the remainder outdoors - so I'll sleep on it!
Spent some time with Sticky Willy. You have to admire its tenacity - scrambling through fruit bushes, clinging to other little Willies, until they form a "rope" that can be bundled up into a ball. If it touches my skin though, there's a reaction - blotchy rash. Not pleasant!

I’m sat in the caravan reading/drinking tea pretending to be on holiday.
It’s too hot to do anything else.

As we've got a forecast of 30°C today my plan today is to pick raspberries early on then take refuge in the cool house. There's no breeze to cool anything outside.

Just watering today, as it is blistering hot outside. Jay has drawn me a hose from the basement out through one of the windows, which I am so grateful for. I have found my stretchy hose, and realised I need a few bits to connect it all up. Thankfully Amazon will oblige, without me having to go to the shops to find what I need, delivery by Friday.

Pulled up the feral Mint in the rockery - still plenty to get rid of. I'd planted it in pots as advised but the stems had rooted where they touched the ground and possibly escaped through the drain holes in the pot. Its not even a nice scented mint!

Fed the tunnel, did some digging of the holly bed. Did some dead heading.
