Potted up the Walking onions. Weeding. GH watering. All the usual stuff.

Finally moved the tin from the cottage garden. 4 new beds now make out roughly. Started digging the edges.
And I got a delivery of black gold

. So quite a good day.

I had a busy day in the garden yesterday. I watered the newly planted apple tree, planted out cabbages, purple sprouting broccoli, and some climbing nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus) around a climbing frame. It was so hot outside, so I had to go in to cool down every now and again.
Today it is raining with thunder, and I had to go to work anyway.

Snapped off all the lower leaves on my tomatoes and tied them in.
Tied in the climbing beans.
Tied in the cucumbers.
I'm getting through a lot of string!

Planted out a load of bedding. Struck some cuttings of salvia possibly hotlips and one other, plus an unknown hibiscus. I don't hold out much hope as cuttings get forgotten and neglected but I'll try my best. Something is sprouting in my Aquilegia pot, but it might be weeds. Watered.

No gardening here just watering seedling and my GH toms, I've got flu so I'm mostly on the sofa.

Had a change from weeding today and lifted my strawberry house, ready to move it to its new home. Took an age to lift the base as I had buried wire mesh a foot deep to keep the critters out. Should have been easy to get out but as the ground is so hard it needed a pick.
I have enlisted the help of a few fellow plot holders to help move it 40 or so feet, this coming Saturday.
