I have a beef joint in the slow cooker and have had sushi when I was out.

After a delve through the fridge the two items that are 'on date' today are minted lamb kebabs & Lincolnshire sausages, so these will form the basis of my meals today. Scrambled eggs and cottage cheeese will also play a part!

I had the Lamb Kebabs with mint and scrambled eggs with chilli flakes for lunch. For dinnr I will have the sausages and use the gravy I made from yesterdays slow cooked beef joint, poured over them.

I thought I'd try my hand at making the American style Italian sausagemeat with fennel https://www.daringgourmet.com/italian-sausage-recipe/

Lidl/Aldi and now Tesco used to do a nice version with the sausage in a tomato sauce with pasta. As I've got tomatoes from last year in the freezer, a sauce is doable, and if I can make the meat to my taste then win win. All I need is a dull day when I don't want to be in the garden all day.
