Watched plasterer men make a mess in my living room so escaped to garden. A massive weeding effort is required. We had rain at last, some of it really hard, so much so that I got drenched getting tenders under cover before they got smashed to bits. Weeding is lot easier now. Last night was forecast a possible frost in rural areas so there was a panic to squeeze everything in the gh. It only went down to 6° so I should be thankful I suppose rather that seething at the inaccuracies in the forecasting. All tenders are now staying out overnight or being planted, that in itself is a mammoth task.

Planted the final thing in the polytunnel, a courgette. Sown a few more DFB to fill gaps in the bed. Tied in climbing rose that was going more out , rather than up. Put up a swallow nesting bowl.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Gave away toms and courgettes. Planted out 3 trombas to climb up the climbing frame. Encouraged a few MT to cling to the net not wave about in the wind. Watered.

Spent the day weeding yesterday, starting to look a bit better now but still a long way to go.

Planted out 6 Patty Pan squash and a Yellow courgette - in between rain showers.
Retreated to GH and sowed some Giant Winter leeks as I'd noticed that the ones left in the garden are bolting. I'll leave them to flower and self seed in situ.
