No rain here but yesterday's wind was annoying. This morning started out sunny but has now clouded over. The overnight temps are as expected around 10 or 11. The wind has lessened thank goodness. There's a HM Coastguard helicopter playing about overhead, I wonder if he's lost. The coast is a long way away.

No, still in bed! but if I waved at every jet, turboprop or helicopter flying overhead I'd be out there constantly looking like a windmill. P tracks them on an app. It appears HMCG was dropping or picking up at a local government training centre a couple of fields over. Helli has gone back home now. PS helli is just flying up past Coventry.

Had enough rain last night to make a slight difference to the water butts - not full yet.
Sunshiny today but cool and breezy.
Re the helicopters, we see the Air Ambulances flying low overhead en route to the A&E hospital. Drives the dogs mad as they think its a giant bird.

It was tipping it down with rain yesterday! I went to a home and garden thing at a castle about an hour away from here. I got proper drenched, despite having a huge umbrella. We still enjoyed a coffee with some lovely cakes, and I bought an apple tree (red, crispy apples - can't remember the name just now) for 20 quid, that's as tall as me! I got some flowers for the veranda too.
Today I was at work, and of course the sun shines and the skies are blue!

Third day of windiness here (is that a word?) Cold as well, stuck with shorts for now, but wore a jumper and fleece whilst walking Kato.
