Whilst for you that may seem like lots of weedd but for many thats not so bad. Im sure you will get it shipshape in no time. Have you got seedlings to go in?

I am limiting what I grow this year, just onions, beetroot and butternut. It won't hurt to leave the ground fallow for a year. I shall cover all the unused beds with membrane once weeded and focus on paths etc.

I have added two more greenhouses, so I can grow seedlings for others if needed, I need to do something to keep my hand in as it really does affect your mental health. I have always been active but went through a stage of feeling useless and old overnight! ( OK, older ).

The wife keeps saying "don't over do it and accept it" but I would rather go out with a bang rather than a whimper!

Why don't you cover the unused beds with membrane before weeding? Save yourself some work as the membrane will kill the weeds for you.
Are GHs the next item that you're collecting? You can never have too many GHs.

Just back from the Consultant, I can extend my plot time by 2 hours additional items of food I have to avoid though.
I have to avoid, tomatoes, fresh or tinned, bananas, pineapple, grapefruit and any smoked fish.

Tomatoes pineapple and grapefruit because of drug interaction
Banana,s because too much potassium
Smoked fish because of salt (unless dry smoked without brine)

Getting g old is such fun!

Glad you're being let out for an extra two hours for good behaviour.
