Went to the FREE food church today - first time for nearly a year as the church has been closed for building work. Much improved space and a kitchen that I would happily have taken home with me.
Came home with lemons, cabbages, bread and rolls, tea cakes, chicken drumsticks, a veggie pie, lemon thyme, diet coke and green tea with lemon. Seem to have a lorra lemons today!

Two kids snow sledges and a seed tray stand with many trays and modules. Quite pleased with that. Waiting for someone to collect some toddler toys.

Ten tins of tuna, use by 2022.
I'm still using LIDL cheap tins from an offer several years ago - they're use by 2022 too.

two boxes of raw chicken meat for the dogs. They'll be happy. ;D
OUT went 6 Music CDs to the Morries Charity book stand. I find this really useful as you just add your books.CDs, whatever to the stand. There's no need for a special trip to a charity shop, who'd probably say they didn't want the stuff anyway!

Yesterday bob got offended lots of bits from a house in the village. As the house is being handed down to the next generation. He came home with a sheet of plaster board and several sheets of plywood. An old 1930/40 gas iron, an iron that you put hot coals in, an old set of scales with weights, a Tilly kettle, 1 Tilly light and 3 Aladdin gas light (two numbers 23 & a 21 )and 2 boxes of spares for the lights, including the original instructions. 4 random containers which will soon be planters in the garden. The lights came in a very 70s plastic washing basket purple with white handle. I’m hoping it’ll clean up to be reused for the job it was intended.

IN came 2 bags of outdated food. I was asked whether there were any dates that were too old!! Tinned fruit, tomatoes, beans & chickpeas, pasta sauces, various jams and pickles including caramelised peppers, peanut butter, lemon curd, golden syrup, a Christmas pudding and some digestive biscuits.
OUT went some books, in exchange for the food. I won!!
