I am so excited! I got a permanent job, not just zero hour contract! Its for 26 hours per week, but I will help out and do 32 hours per week until Christmas. It means we have a bit more security in terms of money coming in, knowing when I am working rather than being informed last minute and most of all, it will help show the migration authority here that Jay is well financially supported, which increases his chances Smile

Two tromba poking their heads up. Fingers crossed they're actually the right seeds, after my previous problem with being sent mystery crossed squash. Maybe this will be my first year of tromba harvest.

This time of year makes me happy! The garden is coming back to life, trees are in blossom, leaves are opening and the drab, brown-ness of winter is fast disappearing. Its so easy to lose any sense of time when wandering around, spotting new flowers, butterflies, birds, bees and ladybirds. I can stand in one spot, look around and always see something new to capture my interest - and forget whatever I intended to do when I left the house!
Its raining now, not much, but enough to send me indoors. A good downpour this evening would make me really happy. Big Grin

I'd be happy for some rain too. The forecasted downpours are going to either side of us.

I am a little bit OCD when I stack logs but I am really pleased with the effect of the logs I stacked today. Alternating them lengthwise and crosswise in rows has made them very aesthitically pleasing...............at least to me it has! Rolleyes
