I've bought a watering can from Temu, https://www.temu.com/uk/4-garden-durable...90652.html

I've never used Temu before and I'm a bit wary but I wanted a small long nose watering can(2 - 3 litres) with a metal rose  (all the plastic ones are too dollopy) to replace an old Sankey 2L one which P has had to repair. No matter where I looked I couldn't find a match to the Sankey one.

On the subject of watering cans, I had two of these, probably 5-7 litre,  a green in good condition and this orange one not so. They must have been 25-30 yrs old. The green one lived beside the house by a water butt, ready for watering  tubs at the front. It was visible from the road, which was my downfall. Some b****r nicked it overnight and once again I can't replace it like for like. It was made by Geeco, long since demised.

A watering can is quite a strange thing to steal. I've got a light green version of your Geeco one, says it was made in 1978 on the bottom! I repaired a hole in it with Sugru (silicone putty), and it's held up quite nicely. The can is crazing all over though so I don't think it's going to last much longer. Interestingly, it has a missing bit of plastic exactly where yours does.

Haws do a 2.25L long nose one if the Temu one isn't any good - https://haws.co.uk/products/the-sutton-splash

Thanks, I saw the Haws one and fainted at the price!

I expect the thief knew exactly what they were stealing. I figure the thief must have clocked it whilst walking/driving up the road and came back under cover of darkness. Perhaps knowing they're irreplaceable. They were taking a risk though as it's a fair way away from the road. BAH.
