Took loads of stones, garnered from digging veg plots, to the dump after routine shopping day.

We signed the contract to buy our house today! Big Grin Now it's just a case of the estate agent that manages the paperwork to arrange money transfer with the banks and then it's ours! Woohoo!!
The banks aren't shy to ask for cash though - they want 400 odd quid just to transfer the money from our account to the seller's!

Other than that, I'm admiring the new little leaves on the berry bushes I planted a few days ago, watching the little white anemones grow under the humongous plum tree on the front, and having a coffee on our cheap-as-chips garden furniture we bought last week in the sun!

Pricked out seedlings and now have to find room in propagator (s) to keep them frost free. These last few nights have gone below zero but from now on they're in the region of 5-6°C.

Spent most of the morning chatting to 3 shirtless men with big machines!. They're replacing the post and pigwire fence at the end of the garden with post and rails and they'll add some sort of wire grid at the bottom to keep the dogs out of the field. All being paid for by the new landowner who keeps horses in the fields. Big Grin
They've been clearing my neighbour's fence today, including dragging out all the brambles that have come in from the fields. Hopefully, they'll be able to clear my "ditch" and save me struggling with the brambles myself.
Don't know when they'll be back to start mine but I'm hoping it won't be too long. Really excited at the prospect of being able to walk in the ditch again.

Put the finishing touches on the pot store and started filling it. Sown seeds. Washed gravel. Started digging out the first path between flower beds.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

Went on a journey with Kato in the Motorhome. Finished up at Whitburn. Never been before but it was voted 3rd best place in the UK so I had to visit. Glad I did, found a wonderful FREE park up five minutes from beach. Really nice place apart from zebra crossings which are speed ramps in disguise!

Beach is nice as well apart from rat dogs running around in gay abandon and Kato wanted to eat them all. Rolleyes Lots of red and white stripey shirts so wonder whether the Mackems are at home today as well? Sick

No signs in car ark saying you can't stay here for the night so we will stay here for tonight and go visit somewhere else tomorrow, returning home on Monday.
