Sowed some DFB - Montezuma, Marconi & Maxidor. Just 6 of each in pots - all old seeds from 2022.

Sowed some more old DFB s- Ferrari & Flagrano, Opera & Orinoco, Traviata & Trinity.
There must be a story there.......... Mr Flagrano, from Trinity House, crossed the Orinoco in his Ferrari to see the Opera Traviata, ?

I put various MT seeds to soak for sowing in modules today. Sowed several single courgette seeds. Very restrained as it's usually 3 per pot, which then all pop and I then have more plants than I can cope with.
Last year I was well impressed with courgette Dunja. I was down to my last seed so wanted more but can't find them anywhere. Typical!

Thank you V. Now I have to ecide whether they were good enough to fork out p&p on a single pkt of seeds. I'll go have a look
Tamar are £2.95 + £3 p&p c £6 for a pkt of 5 seeds, perhaps not.
Gables & gardens direct you to T&M where it's no longer available. I got them originally from T&M in their £1 seed sale.
Maybe I'll stick with the seeds I've got.

The only courgette I miss is "Parthenon" - otherwise, they all seem much the same - apart from colour or shape! Yellow ones look a bit battered (not with flour but damaged) and stripy ones are not so easy to cut into rings. All in all, give me a proper green courgette.........but not a ball shaped one!
I have lots of round courgette seeds - may do a mass sowing of all of them to get them out of the way.

I don't get on with yellow ones or round ones. The Romanesco I grew tasted strange but may try again. I'm fond of the light green and dark green. Dunja seemed early, compact and prolific. I quite liked the novelty of the climbing one I grew last year, Black Forest. That reminds me must sow some tromba.
