LIDL gardening offers at the moment. I weakened and bought some "Compost Growing Discs" (Jiffy pellets). Thirty discs £1.99.

It must have been one of Veggies freebies that I had forgotten about but I received three packets of seeds from the RHS today with a poster to stick in the window. Chives,Cornflower & Cosmos plus a plant label!
Ah well,every little helps,especially if it's for nowt!
