Today I didn't go to Morries to look for Sunday Yellow Stickers but stayed home to garden.

I got P to go to the physio, now tomorrow's achievement will be getting him to do the exercises. Also made a barrowful of seed compost, in anticipation. That's in a bag and a second barrowful is potting compost.

I suppose you could call this an achiebvement for today? Rolleyes

I ordered a couple of small 'grills' (lef and right) for the front of my cousins little car because she has no internet usage. The supplier sent two for the same side so I returned one (free with ebay package slip) thinking he would just replace it. He has now refunded the full amount for both, instead? Huh

So in essence I have got one side for free and have today ordered one for the other side cheaply from another supplier!

I think in the future though becaue of the hassle (there were other items I ordered for her) I will ask her to use her daughter, my cousin, for any future deliveries she needs.

Do you have to have more than one?  I didn't know that. I'm off to investigate.

Yes - 2 injections, 6 months apart.

I was offered the shingles vaccine, but as with Covid vaccine and possibly flu vaccine next year (had it this year) I will give it a miss!

Todays achievement is that I finally got round to starting a batch of Pemmican! I usually buy high fat beef mince because I need the fat (to be converted into the internal carbs i need) as I am mostly carb free. For the Pemmican because the mince is dried in the dehydrator I had to buy the more expensive low fat mince! Sick
Anyway, after adding salt & pepper and rolling the mince between two sheets of greasproof paper to get it as thin as possible I managed to fill two trays in my dehydrator. I have also put a punnet of blueberries to go with it in another tray.

When I am making Biltong or Jerky (not sure what the differnce is?) I don't fully dry it and the pieces are slightly pliable. I then freeze it and take out only enough to use in a couple of days.

The Pemmican mince and blueberries will be different as they need fully drying and then adding to food processer to blitz into a powder. The resultant powder will then be mixed with a similar weight of melted dripping and poured into moulds. I haven't got any  suitable choccy bar moulds as yet so I will have to possibly pour mixture into a tray and cut bars to size?  Huh

I could buy 'Carniore bars' but they are ridiculously expensive so I thoguht I would have a go myself after watching youtube videos! Smile
