Today's Achievement

Over the Pond, employees have been asked, by a Muskrat, to name 5 things they've achieved in the previous week - that's if I understand it correctly??
Anyway, I thought we could put our own Nutty spin on this and list our own achievements. Smile
Remembering what we did last week may be a problem, so how about  a daily achievement? It could be something really challenging - like getting up before 10 or eating a whole Mars bar.    Please note, these are not my achievements although I did get up before 10 today. Big Grin

My daily achievement for today is finally fixing the bracket, with implements ,to the wall for a portable battery controlled hoover I bought a month ago.I bought it to hoover the Motorhome! It hasn't got the power to get Kato's hair up in the house so I use my Dyson their instead.

My Day's Achievement was posting a letter that has been ready to post since Sunday. Unfortunately, I was too late for today's collection!

I was up before 10 which is quite unusual, all due to the fact I was going out with my pal. Yesterday's achievement was getting the gh glass cleaned inside and out although I then scraped the moss out and dirtied the glass, not such a wondrous achievement.
P's achievement, whilst I was out scoffing coffee and danish pastries, was to replace an oldish very yellowing tv aerial socket in the spare room. I keep thinking we've finished in there, P keeps finding yet another thing to do.

Yesterday's achievement was defrosting and cleaning out the freezer. It is supposed to do it by itself, but it's old and can't be bothered any more. Once all the snow was out, and I removed some food that needed to be eaten before it was past use, I was amazed how much space there was.

No thoughts on what to achieve today. getting out of bed was enough, maybe!

Todays achievement (I hope?) will be trying to solve a parasitic draw on the battery of my Corsa which is causing the battery to go flat after a week. I have my multi-meter at the ready and have watchd a youtube video on how to conquer it so will give it a go. At present I am having to connect/disconnect the battery each time I drive it which is a chore to say the least! Rolleyes

This morning I examined my pots and noted that some lettuce, broccoli, tomatoes and cauliflower have germinated that were sown last Thursday/Friday.

I didn’t get the scissors out to cut the annoying sticking out bits of my hair.
