I put dibs on next door's wheelbarrow when he died (also felt a bit awful doing it) but the wheelbarrow is called John and we think of him every time we use it. A fine wheelbarrow it is too.
No guilt required. Dibs on Veggies matteress! I nned an influx of funds as the snow and ice on the roof has just brought down all the guttering with a hell of a crash!

You're welcome to my mattress, Vinnie..............as long as you buy me a new one to replace it!
Sorry about your guttering - hope it didn't damage anything when it came down.

Sorry about your guttering - hope it didn't damage anything when it came down. Just my pride Veggie as I put it up originally about ten years ago before I had even moved into the house! The original alumiium guttering took the cast iron 'stench' pipe with it after another heavy snow fall and thaw. The scrap men got to it before I did as I was living 30 mile away at the time!
I replaced the stenchpipe with plastic and stoppd it short of the guttering. I checked out the cost of replacement and it was a lot cheaper for me to buy some extension ladders and do it myself! The plastic brackets were all sheared off with the weight of ice on the guttering so I will need to find stronger replacements for them and do my Fred Dibner impression when the weatheris better! The plastic guttering is fine, just instead of lying under edge of slates, its now lying on the path below!

Its been a good IN day and its only lunchtime.
OUT went the Breville blender thing I picked up the other day and the collector left me a bag of Quality Street chocolates as a Thank you.
From OLIO I've collected 4 x 100g packs of smoked salmon (for me) and 3 x packs of lamb's kidneys for the dogs.

IN today came a Tower Airfryer, one with a glass door and 3 shelves. Also fitting for a rotisserie which didn't come with it. I've just tried it with a Cheese & onion slice/pastie thing and some oven chips. Not convinced that its an improvement on the Halogen oven that I've been using as it seems to be more difficult to clean. I don't have the room for 2 big appliances on the work surface so there can be only one! The jury's out at the moment.
Also IN came a box of cupboard clearouts with a difference. I swapped my unwanted foodstuff with a friend who also collects cupboard clearouts! I got rid of tins of soup, lots of sachets of pasta in sauce, noodles, dried pasta, jelly crystals and Instant whip and tea bags. She gave me jars of chutneys and pickles, homemade jam, olives, tinned artichoke hearts, stuffed vineleaves, curry sauces, vegan sausage mix and a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates.

IN today came some garden tools - extendable, ratchet loppers, lawn edgers, hedge shears and something that could be a wire cutter. Also a bag of gardening gloves , new/ lightly used and a lawn weed spray which I will rehome.
Although I already have a set of these tools, I like to have duplicates so that one set stays at the far end of the garden and the other in the middle. Saves wandering back and forth for tools I've forgotten to take with me.

IN today from the Prawn Lady.
5 bags of spinach, 4 Iceberg lettuce, 8 limes, blackberries, organic tomatoes, root ginger, cheddar and chive dip, Comte cheese, Chicken & stuffing sandwiches x2, 6 boxes of mincepies!! and king prawns.
She wants to sort out her front garden but is a bit clueless about where to start - so I'm going to help out! Hopefully, I can offload some flowerpots and cuttings on her.
