Too much faff and the containers become brittle in the sun and disintegrate. I know because I've used them to store hotbin juice Picked one up by the handle and it fell apart.

We have glass milkman bottles but my neighbour gave me a couple of those cartons for my comfrey, they disintegrated just like veggies did
