The wind has eased off but the rain hasn't.

Ryde was warned of extra high tides, risk of flooding etc. Storm in a teacup. No flooding or high water. The winds are just blowy down here and it's raining but nothing to get excited about.

Heavy frost overnight. bright and sunny now - but not very warm except in the GH.
I've just pegged a load of washing out and remembered my Mum used to say something about frost whitening clothes? Not sure if that was wishful thinking or not!

I remember when i was little my Nan regularly getting washing of the linen and it could stand up by itself. All frozen solid in position. I thought it was funny.

Weather is same here. Heavy frost overnight sunny and flipping cold today.

That's all very well as long as the washing doesn't start off coloured. Smile
