What seeds have you saved today?
Don't forget the G&G Seed swap later this year.

I've saved Aquilegia seeds from a dark purple plant.

I started thinking about saving tomato seeds. I've saved seeds from a black cherry that P likes. It wasn't supposed to be a black cherry, it was labelled up as Black Russian which I think is beefsteak. Funny though is both plants turned out to be cherries. I can't think I got it so wrong, I'm really quite careful at labelling seeds, it's a mystery.

So will have another go in a couple of days I think they're supposed to be more grey than black. When I've saved from Blue Bedder in the past, I just cut off the brown flower stalks and chucked them in a bucket until they went crispy. The seed comes out much easier then if you rub the stalks between your hands (with gloves on, since they're a bit spiky/hairy).
