As its a 'Fishy Friday' decided to have two Youngs 'Gastro' Tempura battered fish fillets from freezer. I think I bought them at Iceland for a couple of quid?, but must say I wasn't overly impressed! Sick

Some greyish Pollack and soggy batter, they only get a 5 out of 10.

Some 'proper' meat for Ron but undecided what yet? Huh

Ron turned out to be pork chops with sourkraut, red cabbage, beetroot and cottage cheese with pineapple.

Vinny I don't think I've ever bought battered fish from a store that's as tasty as those from the chippy.

My wife used to make me drive for 20 miles to Mr C's for the freshly cooked battered cod. I totally agree, but it has to be the RIGHT chippy! Smile
