Last night was a slice of toast for me, nachos for him.
Tonight is venison steak with mixed roasted vegetables, mashed pumpkin & garlic mushrooms.

B. Greek yogurt & jam
L. Avocado and watercress on toasted olive ciabatta
D. I turned the olive ciabatta into a "pizza" by topping it with more olives, feta cheese & tomatoes.
Finally finished the ciabatta, although there's more in the freezer.
All FREE

B. Rhubarb & yogurt
L. Taramasalata and lettuce in a granary bun.
D. YS Cod fish cake (50p), mushrooms with chopped chives and salad potatoes.
Two chocolate eclairs!
All FREE except the fish cake.

Yesterday sausage rolls with pasta, mushrooms, courgettes and stilton.

Another day for experimentation!
Scotch egg and broon sauce for brekkie.
Lunch was Birds Eye Southern fried chicken with pickled beetroot and black cherry conserve.This was followed by salt & pepper pork ribs with pineaple cottage cheese.
I have cooked off a smoked gammon joint and will have some of this sliced with pickles , after the Newcastle match,or maybe half time?
