Just wet and windy. It’s calmed down a bit now. But tomorrow and Monday are supposed to be worse.

Heavy rain all day, it’s washed away all the snow so I don’t really mind.

It’s a bit blowy here but it’s dry and surprisingly mild.

I can't believe that after the foot of snow we had yesterday it has totally gone today. I dug a pathway out yesterday and even the heaps I threw to one side are gone as well!

The wind increased a lot yesterday afternoon and has continued to produce some very strong gusts over night and very heavy rain / sleet showers has joined the party. Not a lot of sleep was had.
It’s only better now because I can see what’s going on. But conditions are the same.

Brilliant sunshine today, you'd never believe we had all that wind and rain. No wonder, as Brits, we're always on about the weather, it's so changeable.

Woke up to sunshine, no wind, a beautiful day..........or so it seemed. So I hopped in the car to collect some freebies and was caught in a hailstorm. Everything turned white and the noise was deafening. It was very localised - no sign of hail elsewhere on my journey. Strange weather! Blue sky and breezy now.

Another sunny morning with promises it will last all day. A bit chilly. As a temporary measure nextdoor had put up 2 canvas aluminium framed gazebos to house the ride on mower and its accessories. They talked about laying concrete bases and putting sheds up but things in the house took priority perhaps. Unfortunately storm Bert took the gazebos for a flying lesson and they're now a tangled mess. The more I see of nextdoor I get the impression they're not very practical, full of ideas though. P would have been out there trying to resurrect the gazebos but no, they're still in crumpled heaps. The ride on and kit are under tarps now. I had wondered what all the noises were when the wind and rain were at its worst.
I have to admit to a bit of schadenfreude.
