Also the Smell of Strawberry jam, Simmering on the Stove.

Oooh yes I'd forgotten about that, strawberries almost smell better than they taste.

T

Toast, I love the smell of toast, could it be that I'm anticipating the lashing of butter to come? Tomato plants too, just brushing the leaves is scentiferous (new word coined today)

Since you've already bagged Tomatoes and Toast I'll have Tangerines.
There was a Time when Tangerines were only available at Christmastime and something to look forward to. As kids, we'd have a Tangerine in the Toe of our stocking. They were really special. Can't imagine the kids of today being excited at finding a tangerine in their stocking!!

As ever this is very tricky. So I might be bending the rules a bit with this one!
Unidentified smells! Usually they’re not very pleasant and get stronger, the longer it takes to find the culprit. Also usually found in the fridge and it regularly ends up being that special cheese he didn’t tell you he’d brought or something that has turned into a puddle in the bottom of the salad draw !

Our unidentified smell is usually leftover cooked  broccoli or cabbage in a box that's not quite airtight. I can identify with the veg draw puddle, it's usually manky courgettes or cucumbers.

U

Unbaked bread dough, that yeasty smell when you're kneading it, or after the first proving. In fact I quite like the taste too, in small quantities.

I drink Chi Tea at breakfast and enjoy the smell as much as the taste.

U is for Urine and Unwashed bodies - both rather Unpleasant so I'm choosing:-

Ulex or Gorse, warm summer scent of a sunshiny hillside, perfect walking weather.

Vinegar. Some of it smells amazing like balsamic or chive flower. Others don’t smell quite so appealing like distilled. Not a huge fan of the smell of red or white wine vinegar. Malt vinegar reminds me of the special Friday nights when we used to get fish & chips from the chippy when I was very young.
